I transferred schools and now I'm actually attending college at MTSU! I know rush is starting next week and honestly I have no idea what to wear! I'm so nervous because I still don't know if I want to Rush or no. Tonight Is Greekfest though which I'm super pumped about because maybe I can meet some new friends!
9. What should I wear during recruitment?
Listed below are suggestions for what to wear during each night of recruitment. Your Rho Sigma can also give you additional guidance. We ask that you do not wear jeans at all during recruitment (with the exception of bid day) and that you remember to keep it classy.
Values Night - Cute and casual such as Capri pants, dress pants, casual dress or skirt.
Philanthropy Night -Wear something similar as the night before but we ask that you refrain from wearing a skirt or dress as you will be sitting on the floor a majority of the night. Additionally, ensure that whatever you wear covers your back and stomach when sitting on the floor.
Theme Night - This night is dressier than the previous two nights. You would want to wear something that you would wear to a wedding, or church. Sundresses are a good example.
Preference Night - This is the most formal and serious night of recruitment. You will want to wear something that is between a very nice church dress and a cocktail dress. Many women choose to wear black dresses on this evening, but it is not a requirement.
Bid Day - This is by far the most exciting day of the recruitment process! You will be able to wear jeans or shorts on this day. You will be receiving a t-shirt from the sorority you receive a bid from so you may want to wear a camisole under whatever shirt you wear to bid day as there will be limited privacy to change.
