just a small question...

Just so yall know, I do go to UConn. I know that some people might have asked in another thread of mine. Anyways...

I will most likely do rush for a couple fraternities at my school. But the rush calendar is a bit confusing to me. I know that the sororities already had their recruitment orientation yesterday night. But am not sure about when the fraternity people will start theirs.

According to 2 of the houses I'm interested in, they kicked off the rush season at an informational BBQ event on campus a few days ago. I believe they gave calendars for the rush, but I had a class at the time, so did not attend. I went to another info session for the whole fraternity/sorority, but they did not really discuss when the men's rush begin.

I signed up for recruitment in May (1st wk), a week or so before college ended. Not sure if that was too early or not. The IFC at UConn said rush begin around Sept, but some websites appear to say that fraternity rush was done already.

So...do every colleges do rush are the same time, or do some do them a month into class? I tried to ask one of the fraternity brother via email, but his response was cryptic to me.

Just worried I might have missed the beginning of rush...and I did not get a rush calendar on info day (was in class).

You need to ask the Greek Life/Student Activities office.

Your school's website tells you what you need to do:

http://www.greeklife.uconn.edu/go_greek.html#IFC

If you have any questions, it says to email brett.calash@uconn.edu

I'd start there.
