I love Pam! She's such an amazing character, her and Eric together have me in stiches....

Unfortunately being in the UK, we are having to wait until September for S5

Truly. But I have to say, I'm not liking this season as much really. Too many subplots I don't care enough about.

I think I'd whittle a lot down to spend more time on LaFayette and Pam, but I'm not that crazy about the Lafayette as a medium plot. (Since I think the idea was introduced in last season, I don't think it's a spoiler. If so, I apologize.)

Pam and Lafayette are the only reasons I'm watching this season. I was kinda pissed that they didn't kill Tara, but I like her more as a vamp than I did as a human.

This season has been a lot darker than all of the previous ones. I'm wondering who is going to stake Russell eventually.... I'd like it to be Eric, but I bet not.

I was pissed when they got rid of Elliot Stabler and The Swede. (Ok, I have no idea what their characters names were on TB, I only know them by their characters names fro mthe other shows they've recently been on). I was also pissed they got rid of the techie chick too, I liked her.

I'm over the fairy thing. I'm kinda over the shifter thing too.

I need more of Alcide naked.

I wonder who Warlow is? My boyfriend seems to think that it is Russell, but I kind of have this inclination that it might be Bill, which is further supported by the fact that he's become completely evil in the last few eps. However, I think his evil-ness may be a plot to completely destroy the authority.

This season really had too many subplots. I mean, I guess that's True Blood for you, but I faintly remember back in season 1 when there were very few: the killer, Bill & Sookie's relationship, Bill making Jessica, and Sam's a shifter. This season we had Lafayette as a medium, Tara as a vampire, Pam's separation from Eric, Bill being a jerk, Iraq and Terry, the fire-smoke curse on Terry and his platoon-mates, Warlow, the Vampire Authority, Alcide's attempt at packmaster.... the list just goes on forever. They are completely gone from the books at this point which is a good and bad thing. Good may mean that we'll never have to deal with the character of Quinn, bad means we're never going to meet Sookie's fairy grandfather (no, not a special grandfather. He's literally a fairy in the book) and have Sookie find out that her parents were actually killed by fairies. I guess that can also be a good thing, but it probably would have been more interesting than what's going on this season.

Really, True Blood is horrible for like the first 5 episodes- we watch out of habit and its general campiness. The last couple of episodes are pretty good (except for that whole Marni-witch thing- lame!). Luckily some of the subplots are wrapping up so it should be easier to watch.

I still want more Sookie/Eric. I'd ship them forever.

The scroll was dated 1704 or something, so Bill isn't old enough to be Warlow. Russell is a good guess, because he seems to like contracts and mutually beneficial arrangements. Remember when he was trying to figure out who Sookie was and had Franklin find that family tree?

Best line this season was Jason getting zapped by Sookie and saying something like, "It's okay...you just got me in the head."

Pam complaining about having to wear a Wal-mart sweatsuit when she goes underground with Tara was really funny, too.

I agree that there are too many subplots but...

1. I LOVE Pam!!! (enough said)
2. I like Tara as a vampire better than as a human
3. I need to see more of Alcide (preferably naked)
4. Really pissed that they staked Chris Meloni's character (the authority dude).
5. Soooooooooo over the Lilith BS

I too will forever ship Sookie/Eric.

As for the show not following the books, at least Anna's pregnancy is at a perfect time so that they didn't have to 1. figure out a way to cover it up or 2. add it in.

I too think that Warlow is Russell.

I don't think it's Russel because if I recall correctly he was unfamiliar with the effects of fairy blood in season 3 and I'm assuming Warlow wants the first born fairy daughter because of her blood. I would think Russel would have put two and two together by now and have "claimed" Sookie by now. Also, vampires don't really change appearances so idk how Russel could have looked that freaky just 20 years ago. I'm thinking he's going to be a completely new character and I predict Russel and Warlow going head to head over her :-)

Those are good points...I was also thinking that he seemed sincerely "delighted" by Sookie and curious about her, so I didn't think it could be him...then I remembered the family tree.

Well, Hoyt's gone so I guess there's room for a new character!

Lol...but what's with the creepy biting mouth that lunges in from the corner?! Yikes!

I'm not gonna lie, my husband (firefighter) has a body very similar to Alcides, just not as bulky. I'm a lot lucky. I just can't get him to strip for me when wearing his turnout gear.

I'm good with Hoyt being gone. He got whiney.
