recruitment t-shirt color please

Hello! I noticed on the Bama Panhellenic Facebook page that their recruitment t-shirts will be a soft yellow color this year. (I'm sure their PNM's appreciate the information!) Does anyone else know what color t-shirt their panhellenic 2012 recruitment t's will be?

I'm surprised they went with yellow. That is a tough color for a lot of people to wear. It is nice that they posted that information. Our campus doesn't give out PNM t-shirts.

The PNMs get two t-shirts. One is soft yellow and the other one is white. They are to be worn during Round Two parties (Philanthropy Day). I believe that Panhellenic decided which color shirt is worn on which day.

I agree that it was really nice of them to post the color ahead of time. AND guess what? LSU has posted a link that shows PNM's what their recruitment t-shirts will look like too! It's pretty cute!

Auburn has three choices: a yellow, a blue and a pink. One is included free and you could buy another one for $10.

I saw on the facebook page that many girls shared the same sentiment about the color. Yellow is not the best color for me, or a lot of other PNM's apparently!

Maybe if it's more on the sheer side, you could layer a cami under it and give it a different color undertone? I know it's hot as hell down south right now, but it's an idea. Personally, yellow looks terrible on me and I would do just about anything to help fix that.

Then everyone should look equally awful.
One way to go beyond looks!

Does anyone happen to know about the Arkansas recruitment t-shirts? We have 5 that we have to wear at different times all week (There is a shirt for house tours and one for philanthropy, ect). I'm not too concerned, but knowing the colors would be a huge help in planning outfits!

Wow did you wear shirts all week?!? That is lucky!! That would take so much pressure off finding outfits!

I really like the idea that we wear shirts! I think it will allow us to focus on finding a home during the week instead of what we are going to wear. The only bad thing is that I don't think we know what color the shirts are until we get them and we get each shirt the night before we wear it (or at least that's how it happened for my friends last year).
I know they always do a red shirt because it's our school color. Last year they also did blue, light purple, light green and an orange.
It's really not that big of a deal, I'm just a planner and would like to plan all my outfits! Haha

It must be a major challenge for the sisters to keep track of everyone though! It's a whole lot easier to remember "the girl in the coral sundress and gold flats" than "the girl in the recruitment t-shirt". My bad memory and I are happy to not have to deal with that!

Auburn's shirts are such gorgeous, muted shades! I would buy one just to wear because they make everyone look good!

Our PNMs are only given 1 white recruitment shirt to wear all through recruitment. And since this goes on in winter, PNMs are told to just wear jeans and flats or boots and then simple to no accessories (you know, to avoid girls wearing really branded things like a flashy marc jacobs watch or juicy charm bracelet). This was of course fantastic when I went through since there was no pressure at all on what to wear!
This can be a problem on the other side of recruitment though, but that is why we have the PNMs construct their own name tags. They get really creative, and the bigger the better! The year I went though a girl made hers out of an actual bagel. That was certainly memorable!
