"At the dawn of its 2nd century, Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc. chartered its first Chapter in the United Kingdom on June 23, 2012. This historic event was part of a weekend of events and was the culmination of two years of strategic shaping in the United Kingdom. This chartering is a key part of the Fraternity's international expansion.

Chi Mu Mu's chartering ceremony was witnessed by a wide cross-section of Brothers from the United States, Canada, Italy, Germany and England and was presided over by the 39th Grand Basileus, Brother Andrew A. Ray, the 13th District Representative, Brother Matthew B. Coleman and the Chapter's inaugural Basileus, Brother Trevor V. Hodge in Birmingham, England. It was celebrated at a reception attended by representatives of the Birmingham City University, Trident Reach, the Chapter's social action partner, and the families of its new initiates."
