Delta Delta Delta awards active or alumnae members who have achieved in a unique or outstanding way in their volunteer, leadership, civic, professional or philanthropic pursuits. The award is presented biannually at Convention.
The following are the honorees for 2012 who will be recognized at the Tri Delta 2012 Convention in Tucson, AZ in July. A brief comment follows each name. Longer lists of accomplishments can be found on the Tri Delta website:

Pam Bondi-South Florida Chapter
First female Florida Attorney General elected in 2010. Supports various civic organizations for women. Was a prosecuter for 18 years.
Zoe Damacela-Northwestern Chapter
Founder and president of Zoe Damacela Clothing. She manages the business while still a student at Northwestern. Zoe was on the cover of Seventeen Magazine and a featured guest on Oprah.
Katharine Sweeney-Mississippi Chapter
Co-owner of Hable Construction. She has had a varied career and now provides collections for the interior design national market.
Susan Smith-Alabama
Co-owner of Hable Construction. Her background in fine art and design in San Francisco eventually brought her to New York to the position of chief designer for Hable Construction. She is known for her whimsical designs and unique color palette.
Dr. Elizabeth Stewart-Missouri
Dr. Stewart is one of the youngest physicians at St. Jude Hospital. In college she was a biochemistry and pre-med major. Now she serves as a pediatric oncology fellow at St. Jude Hospital in Memphis.
