How long can you go without watching TV?

Ok everyone reality tv is my guilty pleasure, as well as a handful of fav series. But recently I was extremely busy and went about 3-4 wks without watching anything. This weekend is all about relaxing and my DVR has been my best friend. How many of you have with an extreme amount of time without watching tv, including online? And were there any withdrawals, enjoyed the time away, etc? I personally didn't notice I wasn't watching until I had free time on my hands.

One long (Thursday thru Sunday) weekend I tried to go without television and radio. It worked until my friends and I played Boggle that Sunday evening and someone found the word CRASH. He mentioned the space shuttle explosion, and I said "that was over ten years ago", to which he replied, "there's been another one, where have you been?". So I almost escaped watching tv four whole days.

I could probably go forever without watching tv... if it wasn't for sports.

I can go for long stretches without TV. I think I went without TV for 6 months once.

Yeah I've went weeks at a time, but not long stretches. Somehow I will end up watching something on a weekend. Being able to watch online and have DVR has helped cause I really prefer to watch on my own time, and ff commercials. Downside, or depends how you look at it, to not watching is losing interests in shows that I once liked.
