Movies turned TV shows best/worst...

this was according to the people at Yahoo....Thoughts?

Best
1. Buffy the Vampire Slayer (definitely AGREE!!!!!!)
2. Friday Night Lights
3. M.A.S.H.
4. Parenthood
5. The Odd Couple

Worst
1. My Big Fat Greek Life (based off of My Big Fat Greek Wedding)
I think the problem with this show is 1. they didn't get John Corbett and 2. they "tried" to be funny by throwing off the wall puns in that weren't funny.
2. Delta House (based off of National Lampoons Animal House)
3. Ferris Bueller
4. Clerks-Animated Series
5. Working Girl (it starred an unheard of Sandra Bullock)

Sex and the City definitely worked better as a TV show than a movie.

Star Trek was awesome as a movie, but I liked it better as a TV series.

Delta House was silly and stupid, but it was the least offensive of the THREE fraternity-themed comedies that premiered after Animal House made a big hit - mainly because it starred the majority of the original cast. If we'd had HBO back then and they wouldn't have had to censor as much it would have run for years.

And yeah, this is movies turned TV shows...if you want to talk TV shows turned movies...make another thread.

I know, it's just that when I looked at what was posted earlier, some of those shows started as a series, as far as I know.

I liked the movie. I just added Stargate SG-1 to my instant Netflix que.

I actually really enjoyed the first movie. The second one was stupid as hell.

I never watched the show on HBO, as at the time it was airing I was living at home and my parents weren't going to get HBO for me to watch Sex and the City.

Nope, they were all movies before they were shows.

"The Firm" will soon be near the top of the list. It's absolutely awful.

It was terrible as a movie, so I don't have much hope for the series. The book is much, much better.

You're being charitable.

I know. " Hi Mr. Mobster. I know all your secrets, but these guys have been overbilling you. I'm gonna just walk away now. Look at the monkey."
