If you find a dress in a major catalog that you like or with a big department store like JC Penney, they should be able to accommodate you. Know in advance the general range of sizes (if you have any plus size gals, ordering from some catalogs may be problematic) and CALL to see if customer service can help you. Ask for a discount, and make sure what the return policy is. Feel free to ask for a supervisor. Ordering 100 or so dresses is a big deal and a revenue manager would be pretty annoyed to lose that sale.
And this just occurred to me, but don't some campuses have rules about ordering matching dresses? Just make sure you're not breaking any rules.
