I attended a Founder's Day luncheon yesterday in Houston. The collegiate chapter gave awards for academics and the speaker was Carol Irvin from Longwood University (who also happens to be the mother of Cathy Painter, VP of Collegiate Affairs). She gave a humorous recount of her days in DZ back in the 60's, as well as support for the Alabama chapter during Cathy's collegiate days. We especially loved the stories about learning proper cigarette etiquette and collecting empty cigarette packs to earn a new "hi-fi" for the chapter room

... Pretty normal back in tobacco country. I know, if I recounted things from my collegiate days, today's girls would be shocked at what was normal back then...thank you to risk management and political correctness!
