Haunted Trails, Hayrides, and Houses

Does anyone go to these? They've become a regular industry around here!

They are definitely a regular industry. When I took my son to a Major League Gaming tournament, there was also a Midwest Haunters Association convention at the same hotel. They are definitely an industry with trade shows and educational conferences on legal liabilities, how to make props, make-up workshops, etc. And yes, they dress up for their convention so the place was filled with zombies, ghouls, ghosts, etc. It was the freakiest thing I've ever witnessed! They had ScareOke (their version of karaoke) and a monster bash ball (which I was invited to by a very nice zombie from North Carolina but I declined).

There are some very good ones around here. The best haunted hayride is actually put on by a Lutheran Church. They do a great job and make a ton of money for charities too. The kids are going to that one tomorrow night. They don't let me come anymore because when I start to get scared, I end up screaming right at the zombies/ghouls/monsters.
