Advice
I'm a highschool student in a small town in tennessee. My 10th grade year I was introduced into a group for girls that had been started a few years before i had joined we were not allowed to become associated with our school because of past troubles a sorority with school had got into. Because of this none of us have ever had much adult help with our sorority and now that I'm one of the three girls that is some what in charged this year i would like to do things how it should be done and I was informed that we technically can't do what were doing because we don't have a charter and this year who had started as our president stole our money which is when adults informed us that we had to be chartered to be a sorority. I have already talked to two parents that are for sure willing to help support us and do what we need to do. We have been doing community services and such like tonight we are hosting a party to kick off fall break and the money we raise is going towards march of dimes and part to our school and some of it to pay back what was stolen from some of the girls this year. These two other girls, some parents, and I all are trying to get more support from our community and our school and would like to become a "real" sorority but were lost on where we need to start.
