I love R.E.M. When I feel depressed, I go to Youtube and watch the video for "Stand." I remember doing that dance to the video. PS what was up with the dancing in the 1980's? Lots of arms and legs swinging about.

Everybody Hurts, indeed.
R.E.M. was definitely part of my high school experience. I remember sitting on the band bus (we were the cool kids, I tell you) heading to away football games, several of us gathered around the spongey-covered headphones, rewinding the tape on the Walkman (over and over!) until we figured out the words to It's The End of the World. Ahh, good times.
