Pledging

I was just curious how pledging works in a fraternity. Do you have to do something everyday for the brothers, or just on the weekends.
Also, how often do fraternities throw parties or meet up. Every night of the week, or again, just weekends (Like Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays)?

Can you not talk to the fraternity men on your campus or figure this out as you go along?

Did you get a bid? If not, don't trouble yourself with questions on pledging.

Each fraternity's pledge process is probably going to be a bit hush-hush. The brothers might give you a general idea of how busy you'll be, but they most likely won't tell you much more. Most of the pledge processes I've heard about tend to snowball, and get much more hectic as time goes on. Pledging is a big time commitment, and you should be prepared to take that step if you decide to accept a bid.

Any further questions should be discussed with active brothers of the fraternity you are interested in.
