Allright this thread is just for fun. But if you could pick any book to be made into a movie, what would it be? Who would star in your masterpiece?

That is funny that you will mention "The Color Purple". I watched that movie tonight at work. LOL 
Well I will like to see "If Tomorrow Comes", at a theatre or on video This novel is written by Sidney Sheldon. I promise you will not be able to put this novel down, you will take it almost everywhere until you've finished reading it. It is a suspense novel. Check it out

I enjoyed a Day Late and Dollar Short by Terry McMillan. Unfortunately none of her books that have been made into movies have been any good....
I would like to see an Octavia Butler book made into a movie, you don't see a lot of Black science fiction on the screen.

The Temple of My Familiar
I think that it would be really interesting to see it made into a film, and I think it would do really well at the box office. If not, there's always HBO and Showtime - those movies do pretty well as long as they're well made with a decent budget and quality cast.
