Recruitment at Millersville (PA)?

Hi,

Does anyone have any info about the competitiveness, etc., of recruitment at this school?

Thanks!

I know of someone's daughter that went through a few years ago- I can't remember how many sororities there are (I want to say 5 or 6, a couple being locals) but it's not competitive. Recs aren't required and her daughter didn't have any (but pledged her top choice anyhow).

ETA: Their formal recruitment is in the spring.

There are 6 sororities - a mix of locals and nationals and I believe they rush together. Formal recruitment for freshmen is in the spring and they do COB for upperclassmen in the fall. It's a little competitive if the pnm is not willing to keep an open mind.

I would say this for ANY of the PA state schools. You can get A bid, but you are by no means assured of getting the one you want. PNMs need to take advantage of rush being deferred and get to really know sorority members in a day to day setting.

Millersville has 2 locals, 4 NPC groups, 3 NPHC sororities and 1 multicultural sorority.
