Ready for summer!!!!
Hey GC'ers...I'm still a little new here so I think I'm posting in the right forum.
I would LOVE to do something nice for my 21st birthday (June 19th) but I'm not really familiar with the area that I live in or many people who live there (Des Moines) anybody want to hang out and show me some spots in the area? I would love to have a party or get together of some sort...but I can't party alone!

The only difference between summer and other seasons (for me, at this phase of life) is that I don't have to make my son's lunch every morning. I miss "summer" meaning "break from school".

Yeah, but he leaves his lunch dishes in the sink so we argue every day when I get home. And it's really bad when my alarm goes off in the morning and I hear him still up playing vid games.
Hoping this summer is better.

Oh, lol. When I was younger, momma didn't play about the dishes....I think thats why I'm afraid to even THINK about leaving the dishes in the sink hahaha. Those video games are horrible aren't they? I don't see how they stare at the game for so long!
