Kappa Delta Sorority Executive Director Resigns

MEMPHIS, TN, February 4, 2011 – Kappa Delta Sorority announces the resignation of Executive Director, Melanie McMillan Schild, effective February 4, 2011. Melanie has served Kappa Delta for the past 27 years, beginning as a field consultant in 1984 and becoming executive director in 1987; she also served as executive director of the Kappa Delta Foundation. The National Council and Foundation Board are grateful for Melanie’s dedication and contributions to our sorority, including the construction of our National Headquarters building, the transition of the sorority operations from Denver to Memphis, and her valuable role in the success of our Centennial Celebration. We wish her the best in her future professional endeavors.
