We had a guest speaker at a meeting Saturday. She shared this neat stained glass analogy with us. It represented white pieces (good events in our lives) and dark pieces (bad events in our lives). She went on to discuss how light shines through the dark pieces more than the white pieces. In other words, with each bad event something good comes out of it in some way. I looked at my dark pieces and found the analogy to be pretty relevant. Do you find the analogy relevant to your life?
I love the analogy. Being a Catholic, I've seen plenty of stained glass in my life. The most beautiful were always made up of a majority of "dark" pieces. Perhaps the real beauty of a person grows from the tribulations in life-the completed work reflects how the artist (the individual) chose to put the pieces together.
Thats a very interesting analogy, I have never heard that one before but it makes a lot of sense. Like in a way I think it might relate to everyone, since it's takes a mixture of both to make a whole person , sorta speak. We all have good things and bad things which in the long run, make us a stronger person
Thanks for sharing Sh80er
