Toys?

i was watching cartoons today and i saw the UGLIEST toy--"robobaby." this hideous toy is similar to the robotic dogs and cats that came out not too long ago. you use little devices to feed it and change it, and it talks to let you know that it is hungry and needs changing.

so i said to myself, "self, what ever happened to the wholesome toys that you used to play with?"

what happened to the toy bottle with the fake milk that went away when you tipped it upside-down? when did it get replaced with robotic foolishness?

what happened to glow worms? my little pony? and the like? i feel sorry for these kids today. to play with most of their toys, they need internet access!!

if i saw a child in his front yard playing with a stick, a rock and a plastic bag, i would be shocked!! if i saw a child at a real playground (not a mini-amusement park) just digging in the dirt, i don't know what i would do?

maybe i'm just crazy...

by the by- have any of you seen the new destiny's skank dolls? my word, beyonce's doll looks trashy! she has on this tiny outfit that is cut with one breast semi-exposed, covered only with a piece of cloth!!
