The Soundtrack of your Life or a/an Relationship(s)
List at least 8 songs that would best fit the Soundtrack of your life or a relationship.
These songs should basically give one insight to the ordeals you have gone through throughout your life or during a relationship.

I got a-plenty!!
well, one that immediately comes to mind recently is Micheal Jackson's "Working Day & Night" of the "Off the Wall" album..I live in NYC & with all that's going on, people are still doing their thang..I happened to be playing this song on my CD walkman one morning...& just walking in that crowd of people who are determined to go on with their lives while listening to that song just energized me! I almost started crying...
some others are:
Black Butterfly-Deniece Williams
Get Up-Amel Larrieux
Dream on Dreamer-Brand New Heavies
Day Break-Brand New Heavies
Stormy Weather-Lena Horne
I Got Rhythm-Lena Horne
Give it Up, Turn it Loose-Envogue (when I broke up with my cheating @$$ man)
I have way more than 8, really, but will just stop here!

Think About It
If you had to put together a CD that reflected your life what songs ( old or new) would you include and why?
I would include about half the songs off the Miseducation of Lauryn Hill because I related to just about every song. Then I would have to say "At Last" by Etta James (OLD OLD school) because the person that I'm with has me floating on cloud 9. I can not exclude the Boys II Men song also known as the Mother's Day anthem. Yall know which one I'm talking about ( you do not want me to start singing)

Good topic
Girl, At Last is way past Old Old School--it is a Classic. A CD of my life would be a long version of Keep Your Head To The Sky.

My cd would be like more than a double cd. It'd be like the Motown classics collection. I got bookoos of songs that come to mind.

Ideal, it's nice to know I have another member in the "I played the hell out of the first 112 Cd" club. Sad thing is I know longer have it. I let a friend borrow it and I never got it back. I don't know where she is now, so I can't even track her down to get her back!

J/K
Get HER back? or the CD?
If it's about the CD, you can ALWAYS go to Best Buy, Circuit City etc etc. LMAO!
If you are speaking about HER, you better write Oprah or go to www.findafriend.com!

Reason 1-10 of why I don't loan out CD's.
MAN!!! I LOVE THAT CD!!! I did play the hell out of it, LOL! You know what? I'ma hafta listen to it when I get home. It's too bad their other CD's just didn't measure up.
LOL @ Soror 2D. You so silly.
N4L, hit the Record Exchange or CD Depot or somewhere like that; see if you can get it used. If I had a CD burner, I'd burn you a copy and mail it to you. It's the thought...
