Zeta Phi wins....

....Howard University's Fraternity of the Year!

The competition was quite stiff this year, but Zeta Phi walked away from the 2009-2010 Bison Ball and Excellence Awards as the Fraternity of the Year!

The last time Zeta Phi won this honor was in 2003 upon rechartering.

Congratulations! Who competes for this award, APO & the 5 NPHC fraternities or are there others as well?

Randy

^^^ Randy, I think it is any organization at Howard which is technically a fraternity, such as Phi Sigma Pi. My mind is blanking on the other orgs at Howard which are fraternities. Or maybe I am wrong.

I wonder what would happen if one of the NPC sororities that is officially a "women's fraternity" were to start at Howard. (like Alpha Gamma Delta)

Zeta Phi competed against all the D9 Fraternities, Kappa Kappa Psi Band Fraternity, Phi Mu Alpha Music Sinfonia, Phi Sigma Pi Honor Fraternity, and Delta Sigma Pi Business Fraternity.

Howard doesnt have any women's fraternities.

Random fact: Howard has over 200 clubs and organizations.

Thank you for the list of groups. I couldn't find any list of who had won in the past other than Phi Beta Sigma talking about when they had won it recently.
