The Ultimate Kings of Comedy Tour
I know we all loved Kings(or should I say "Kangs" lol!)
But who would you pay money PLUS some if they came to your city? Or what comedy team do you wish would hook up and do the damn thang?
I have ALWAYS wanted to see:
Chris Rock
Martin Lawerence
Jamie Foxx
David Chapelle
I think they would be off the hook!
And don't sleep on the white comics, George Cartlin would get my money fo sho!

The 3 C's
Chris Rock
Chris Tucker
Cedric the Entertainer
That is the one right off of the TOP of my head.
I would also love to see Ricky Smiley.

You know what?
I must of had an extra dose of DUMMY on da brain not to think about Chris Tucker! He could come by himself and I would pay.
I also like this one guy on BET Comic view who is also featured in Outcast "So fresh so Clean" video. He always has on a fitted suit. He a big dude, so he look all swole in it, lol.
PLEASE nobody roast me on this but...I would go see
Carrot Top (the guy from the AT & T) commercials.

Good topic!!!
I would MOST want to see Don DC Curry. I think he's just hilarious. Went to see him with some other comics. I was SO excited, he's my favorite. AS SOON AS he got on stage, there was a bomb threat. I was ticked. so we left. What ticked me off even more, the show continued after they checked the building. Anywho...
In addition (we're only doing men, right?):
Chris Rock
Chris Tucker
Adam Sandler (Does he do stand-up???)
Cedric the Entertainer
Bill Bellamy (his old Def Com. Jams were funny!)
Bernie Mac (yall wouldn't wanna see this fool??? NORTH CAROLINA , milk and cookies, lmao)
QTE, I feel you on George Carlin, he's HILARIOUS!!!! Doesn't he have book out? I'm not going to say anything about CT... lol... I've never seen him do Stanc-up.
Who's Roast is coming up?? I remember saying, ooh, that's gonna be a good one, but now I forget who's it is. I hope I don't miss it. Does anyone know who's getting roasted next???

We can do women comics also!
I would love to see Mo'nique in concert. And Adele Givens is always funny as all get out.
The next friars club roast is Huge Heifner.

i have a question. Today my boyfriend and I were talking about the VMAs and he said that he did not find Chris Rock funny. Does anyone else not find him funny? Granted he is a stiff actor but I find his comedy hilarious.

He's not one of my favorites either - I have to agree with the BF. I thought his role as Daddytang in Pootietang (yeah, I watched it and cracked up!) was pretty good, but as the dj, especially when he was going ballistic knocking stuff off the desk, etc., I thought that was a little crazy and not funny atall.
ladatay!

Chris Rock performed on my campus wwaayy back in the day and he was HELLA (for the west coast folks) funny..but now he is not as "free" with his jokes as before. Sometime I feel like he's trying too hard to be funny.

Chris Rock's stand up special "Bring in Da Pain" (I think that is the title) is a classic!!! He is funny because he us crude and subtle at the same time. Sometimes I can see where peope are annoyed, but when he is in his "own" (you know what I mean) element he is hilarious!! I am sorry but when he's talking about the difference between "black people" and "ni&&a$" I die every time. Remember "So you one of those smarty arty ni&&a$? Like to read and stuff...so what can you kick my a**?"
or the part when he is like if you wanna hide you valuables from ni&&a$ hide your stuff in books it's like cryptanite, that is so funny!

The line Up I would Pay to see
Would have to be (in no particular order)
Eddie Murphy ("RAW" is still funny to me)
Richard Pryor (I have "Live on Sunset strip" on DVD)
Bernie Mac (The hardest I ever laughed at a theater was his set in "Kings")
Chris Rock ("Bring the Pain" was my kind o Funny; smart and true)
With Chris Tucker coming in a close second behind Chris Rock. Chris Rock has more commentary in his comedy, which I like. Chris Tucker told stories and jokes, which is what Richard Pryor did to the hilt. The last time I saw Chris Tucker do stand up was on Def Comedy Jam. I don't think he does stand up anymore. I think he is trying to be more clean (going to the West Angeles Church in Los Angeles I think, same church as Tavis Smiley and many other black "Big Wigs"). Unfortunately, I think his career is not doing as well as it could because after "Rush Hour I" he decided to tone down his act. This in turn would require him to be a better actor (to get roles in good films), but he is a better comedian than actor. Is there a way you can be "saved" and "funny"?
Blackwatch!!!!!
