Ritual Clothing

Hi all I know ritual is a secrete matter, how ever I was just trying to get an idea for my own house. We wear all white, and I know some houses wear maybe white gowns ( like graduation gowns).

What does your house wear, if you can say, or can you write an idea of what a house might wear.

I want ritual to be more uniformed and I was looking for idea or suggestions. and I thought Clothing might help with unifying a house more during ritual if we were all in the same attire

Thanks!

Doesn't your HQ have guidelines established for what to wear?

Seriously. Even if your inter/national organization doesn't have specific guidelines (which I highly doubt), it's very inappropriate to be asking a question like this on a public forum.

The only public uniform wearing of something that is worn to Initiation I can think of, comes from our Delta Sigma chapter at the University of Hawaii. My sisters have the most beautiful mu'umu'u dresses worn the day of Initiation.

If we had an Alaskan chapter I hope they'd wear white kuspuks.

I'm totally plotting this all now.

Delta Chis wear this at initiation:

With a battle axe and scimitar, of course.

Awesomeness. That beats the traditional Greek Goddess gowns and diadems that most of the sororities wear.

Or the togas most fraternities wear.

But honestly, of what I can say about ritual dress, the general rule is a dark suit with your pins on. That's also what we all wear at most public ceremonies.

Those aren't part of Ritual! That's just bedtime routine at the sorority houses!
