More than likely your time should be spent getting to your local drugstore so you can buy your daughter some Huggies pull-ups. It's time to get her out of diapers and into some big girl panties.
In all seriousness, your daughter will need to contact the Greek Life office herself in order to fill out the necessary registration. I'm a recent Mizzou alumna and former recruitment chair. I seem to recall there being a resolution for moratorium on COB until next semester because of new colonization (said colony is thriving) but I honestly can't remember if it passed.
If your daughter wants to pursue COB, she will need to keep an open mind. Looking at your other thread, she was cut down to her five lower-ranked chapters after Open House. I don't know she completed recruitment or not, but if she dropped out, she should keep in mind that the "top" chapters won't be holding open events. If they have spots to fill (and even if they're under total, that doesn't mean they will fill those spots), they'll do it very quietly. Few houses hold "open" recruitment (meaning inviting everyone registered with the Mizzou Greek Life office); mostly just friends of friends.
The point is, your daughter will need to do this herself. Being invited to a COB event at Mizzou will be about the connections she makes with sorority members.
I don't have any experience with COB, so take my disclaimer that the rest of this is secondhand and from what I remember of the Panhellenic recruitment liasion meetings:
Grades/involvement will be incredibly important, because informal recruitment at Mizzou tends to be about who you know and being in the right place at the right time. Also, Homecoming just wrapped up. So if sororities know they have to COB in the coming months, now will be the time to start thinking about it, and now would probably be the time to start subtly feeling out those connections.
edit: yeah, I know I'm simultaneously telling her this is info her daughter needs to seek while giving it to her. But I also know there are a ton of Mizzou lurkers out there, so why not just answer the question.
