As some of you know I've had some issues with trying to rush a social sorority b/c of also being in a service sorority and missed out on fall recruitment because of a terrible miscommunication but I still want to try to do spring recruitment.

Firstly, I know not a lot of the sororities really participate, but I heard like only 5 of 20 usually do...is that true? Also I know it depends on graduating seniors but is it really usually that few?

Also I am a sophomore. I heard that they don't usually take second semester sophomores?
And do the chapters that participate in spring usually hold their events around the same time (so I could go to meet multiple chapters? instead of chancing on the first one?)
And I heard it's better to make yourself known by sorority the fall semester if you're hoping for a bid in the spring.

I know there are things I could probably ask the greek life office, but I feel they may not always give out a correct answer, as it is more of how girls in the chapters feel about these things....

I don't go to PSU, but I will say that whether a chapter can participate depends on whether they have reached total (max number allowed)

The exact number of open spots per chapter varies. A chapter could be a total now, but end up having some openings due to December grads/study abroad/etc.

However, there may be some chapters who have SO FEW openings, that they may choose to just wait until fall recruitment to fill them.
