Scentsy Wickless Candles

I never thought I'd be good at selling things like Avon, Mary Kay, etc. And then my friend who sells Scentsy Wickless Candles got me to try it, and I fell in love...and now I'm selling them! I'm really nervous about it, but it's a product that I happen to love and I'm going into this without any really exceptions besides hoping to put a few extra dollars into my pocket every month.

Any advice or thoughts or funny stories would be great!

Wow. They really DO have a home sales company for EVERYTHING.

So it's like Partylite without wicks?

Yes...they do! It's almost scary.

Yeah, no wicks or flame. It's low temperature melting wax, so the heat of a 25 watt bulb will melt it. I have to admit, I wish I knew about this when I was in the dorms. I really like having a candle or tart burning all the time, but no candles in the dorms. I'm up at camp right now and the same thing, no open flame inside any of the buildings...but I can "light" this so it's all good.

I'm going to be honest, I wouldn't buy this.

I like to actually burn the candle.

And really, if I want my place to smell good, but don't want to light a candle, I'll go buy a plug-in or something...

I can understand that...for certain things I still prefer a candle as well (like romance). But overall...I'm happy with this over a candle

Does anyone know if these candles are really worth the price? Does the scent last a long time?

I sell them and I have to say they are defiantly worth the price!

The scent lasts. A lot of it depends on the room size and how strong you like your scents, some last longer then others. But I can get a good 10-12 hours of scent in my bedroom from 2 cubes of cucumber lime, if not longer. And I like my scents super strong.

If you have any questions on them, or want to know more I can link you to my site!

Don't knock them til you try them KSUViolet!
They are awesome! My mom bought me one and I love it. Great for apartments/dorms where you can't have candles. Once the scent wears out, just dump it out and put in two new cubes. I really really really like it.
The scent seems to last me for so long!

They are great - I have one in my classroom and it works very well at making my room smell like lavender and not stinky sixth graders. The only problem - my students like to stick their fingers in the melted wax! I bought a warmer that they were discontinuing, so it wasn't expensive. I give 'em a thumbs up!

I would be greatly impressed by something that could negate middle school smells, lol. The year I helped keep in-school suspension, another teacher brought her Febreze Scentstories, which worked as long as there were only the basic smells. But come winter, when there were all these hoodies with the smell of mildew...ugh.

How do these work? Do they just sit there and smell?

I love them for laces you can't have candles. I 've been looking for someone who lives in a dorm to go ahead and host a party for me, I think it would be a huge hit.

At least the wax doesn't get hot!

You plug in the warmer, turn it on and add 1-2 cubes of your favorite scent (or mix it and put in a cube of 2 different scents!) and let it warm. The wax doesn't get hot, just warm and it smells great!

I am a Scentsy believer.

I had never heard of them until I got one for Christmas last year. I LOVE IT. IMO, they produce much more scent than even the best candles, they are less mess, less of a fire hazard, and a lot of them are completely adorable. And there are DOZENS of scents. One of my Kappa sisters recently started selling them and has gotten me hooked on the travel tins as well.

Two thumbs up from me!

I love the travel tins! I'm closing a party tonight that I was the host of and I can't wait to get more!
