2009 ZTA Days

Who all is going or has already been? What was your favorite part? It is one of my favorite events of the year! Tennessee's is in Chattanooga this year on April 4th! I can't wait!

i was one of the 2 co-chairs here in florida. ours was held the first weekend in feb. and was the first time in our neck of the woods. we had lots of positive responses from the survery we took at the end of the day, many saying it was one of the best zeta days they have attended.

my favorite event was the breakout session for the collegians-Stacy Voight-our national VP led this session and had the girls up and dancing and they looked like they were having a wonderful time-i wished i had had time to join them. enjoy yours ladies!!

NY/NJ Zeta Day was today. Was a lovely event. Our alumnae chapter loves getting together, we had a great time!

In February I attended my 21st Texas Zeta Day. A couple of friends came in from out of state, one to receive her White Violet. We drove from Dallas to Houston and had a great time.

Last weekend I went to Louisiana Zeta Day, my first non-Texas one. It was definitely smaller but I really enjoyed seeing how differently things were done. The collegians dressed up nine of us alumnae and we had a "Miss Themis" pageant. I was "Luau Themis", doing a hula with a pastel-colored crown made of pipe cleaners on my head, a "gown" of foil, tissue and crepe paper and waving a handful of flowers. I didn't win the pageant but it was great fun.
