University of Rhode Island has suspended a fraternity because of substance abuse and destruction of property.

Phi Kappa Psi cannot operate as a fraternity at URI for 18 months, and its chapter house will be closed until at least 2012. . . .


Police reportedly found "pills," weed and cash in the house.
