D Phi E Rushes - how are we doing?
Hey ladies! I know in the rush forum, there's a lot of talk about rushing, but none of these women are going through rush at schools with D Phi E. How are your chapters doing? Have you done recruitment? How many new members have you got? I need to hear how well we're doing

Hey!
Just to let you know, we won't be rushing (formal) untill spring '02. Numberwise, we have about 25 sisters. (We're rather small, but we intend to get lots of new members)
I hope this helps. When spring rolls around, I'll keep you updated!

Kristen--
What chapter are you at? What school? What sororities are there at your school?
I wish you the best with rush in the spring.
YITS,
Heather

Hey!
i probably should have mentioned that when i orignally posted.
I'm from the Alpha Epsilon Chapter of Kennesaw State University in Kennesaw Georgia. Being a somewhat smaller commuter campus, we only have two NPC sororities, DPhiE and Phi Mu.
There is a possiblity that we might expand, but it probably won't occur for a few more years. Thanks for the well wishes!
YITS,
Kristen

New Paltz is starting on Wednesday, classes start today - wow they move much faster on that campus then they did when I was in school! We usually had a week or two to be back at school before rush started.

Yay! Congrats to the Kappa Colony!
Formal Recruitment events are as follows:
Sun. 9/15 - Round 1 - Mandatory Meeting with the Rho Chi's (although I am not sure what they are going to call them at TAMUK.. that school has not had formal recruitment in a long time) Then the groups will visit all 3 sororities (Theta Phi Alpha Colony, [future] DPhiE colony, and Psi Theta Upsilon (local sorority)
Mon. 9/16 - Round 2 - Philantrophy - (invitational)All groups will meet with the three sororities again.. all meetings are 30 minutes each
Tues. 9/17 - Round 3 - Sisterhood - Same as Monday; all groups will meet with the different sororities, 30 minutes each
Wed. 9/18 - No Events
Thurs. 9/19- Round 4 - This day, all the sororities will have an hour. It's not called "Preference Night" so I am not sure how the Greek Office is going to hold it? I will find out from one of the girls and let you know! Then the PNM's will sign their bids, and bid matching will be done.
Fri. 9/20 - Bid Day!

I am very excited for them even though I can't be there in Kingsville with them!
