Private Practice: Season Two

I actually kind of liked tonight's episode. Things were unexpected.

I really liked it, but I have always liked Private Practice. I think its a much better show than Grey's Anatomy.

I think its the grown up version of GA.

1. Dell did not quit! I refuse to believe that.
2. Sam and Naomi: either get back together or finalize the divorce. All this back and forth is making me upset.
3. Violet.. GIIIIRL, I have been there. *sigh*
4. SWAT team dude: I like you!!!
5. Addison: WELCOME BACK!!!
6. Pete: dayum, dude. I don't even know what to say to you.
7. Dell QUIT??!!! He's coming back.
8. Naomi girl, get it together. You can NOT walk out on your family
9. Dell will be back. (as you can see, this incident traumatized me last night)
10. Curse you, Shonda Rhimes, I know throw my shoe at TWO shows every week.

Definitely preferring this show over Grey's at this point. This week's episode was solid.

Can't stand Grey's anymore. I, however, am in love with Private Practice.

I am so glad there's a thread on this! Did anyone notice how all of a sudden Violet was all dolled up this last episode where she hooked up with Pete? She's naturally pretty, but of the 3 women on the show, she's been the least "made up" and fashionable. All of a sudden last week, her face was almost over-done, her hair was different, she was in a cute dress (she normally wears slacks and a vest or something) and had bangle bracelets and accessories on. And what do you know, all of a sudden, that cutie Tim Daly is professing some kind of hidden attachment to her and they're making out by the end of the show. It's like they had to suddenly "upgrade" her to make her "fit" with Pete. I like both characters, but they're a weird fit for me. I assume it will just be a temporary physical thing (but maybe it will get rid of the annoying old girlfriend of Pete's who came back to town for him).

I think she was trying to "look nice" for Sheldon, and it kind of stuck. I dont really like Pete's girlfriend, anyway, and I saw that he and Violet were about to make out once he kissed her forehead. And I LIKED Sheldon, dang it. It wil be interesting to see how Dell handles the new doctor. I really did not like how the girl took what he said VERBATIM. The way they presented the abortion issue was very even handed, I think and fair to both sides without being pushy. I literally lol'd with Sam and the bike.

They shouldn't have cut Addison's hair.

I actually bought the heat between Violet & Pete tonight.

Tim Daly's still a hottie.

Solid agreement on all accounts.

So this has officially become my favorite over Grey's (between the two that is). Very much enjoyed the crossover too.

The crossover was realistic without being in your face about it.

Although I still don't like Charlotte. Coop can't have two best friends?

I felt so bad for Jen and her sleep deprivation induced psychosis.. lol

I've come around and like Charlotte now. And while I thought she was being stupid about Coop, she made really valid points -- at some point you have to realize the person you're dating is the most important person (if you want to end up with them in the end, which Cooper says he does).

She has a point, yes, but does that mean Coop has to abandon his BFF when she needs him? I can see both sides. But I still dont like her. lol..

Has anyone noticed that Taye Diggs wife has been guest starring on Private Practice? Idina Menzel has been playing the single mother that has been getting involved with Tim Daly's charcter.

There was a line in one of the episodes that Taye's chacter said. "Oh and like this one", and I laughed!
