Sorry to invade your forum, sisters! I just wanted to share the news that my daughter is a founding member of the new WVU chapter of OPA! She is so thrilled and loves her sisters so much; I just wanted to share

Thanks so much for dropping in with that wonderful news, KillarneyRose! Compared to the NPC organizations, OPA is still so small on a national scale. It's a thrill to see us get a shoutout in your siggy.

And congratulations to your daughter. Being part of a founding class is a huge accomplishment, and builds skills that she'll draw on for many years after leaving school. Because of the her work with the other founding mothers, the students at WVU have a new outlet for service and sisterhood that they never had before. That's a wonderful legacy to leave behind!

Did she happen to represent the WVU colony at last summer's convention? I met those two girls and was really impressed with them!

Hi all,

I accidentally found this post and had to create an account to reply! I am one of the 22 founding members, and it means the world to see all of this positivity. Colonization was a lot of hard work, but the experience was absolutely incredible. I am so thankful to be a part of something so great, and my sisters mean the world to me.

Hi, it's KillarneyRose again with more bragging to do on the part of my OPA daughter (she'll kill me if she sees this)! She was just elected President of her chapter! She is such a passionate, hardworking young woman and she says she has an incredible executive board she's working with. It should be a great upcoming year in Morgantown!

It was great to see your daughter again KillarneyRose at OPA's National Convention! She is so sweet! I was also proud that her chapter earned the New Chapter Builder award this year too, which is not an easy award to get!
