Male OPhiA sisters?
Does Omega Phi Alpha allow men to become Sisters? I know that Gamma Sigma Sigma does and I view the groups as being in a similar situation.

Yes OPA does allow males to become sisters. I actually just wrote a chapter spotlight article on a chapter in TX, and one of their exec board members was a male member!

Some of the founding sisters at Alpha Delta were men. They were lovingly referred to as "mister sisters"

What a lovely alliterative phrase for those founders at Georgia Southern. Unfortunately "miss brothers" doesn't quite roll off the tongue for women in APO.

Yes! The Mu chapter just Activated our first "mister sister" this fall and he is a wonderful addition to the sorority. He embodies every characteristic an Omega Phi should. We love him so much! <3

We're actually recruiting for a cool new alumnae program and Alpha Alpha is one of the pilot chapters. Email alumnae@omegaphialpha.org to get in on it.

I'm the proud Mister of Mu Chapter at MTSU mentioned above! It's a great experience and I sincerely hope to meet more Misters one day! (:
