Lavaliering
Has anyone ever heard of a non-greek person lavaliering their girlfriend with her own letters?

Why would her letters mean anything to her relationship with her boyfriend? They signify her relationship with her sorority sisters. Find some other item to commemorate your "love."

That is indeed very odd. When a greek man lavaliers his girlfriend with his fraternity letters, he is indicating that she is very important to him, just as his fraternity is very important to him. If a non-greek man lavaliers his girlfriend with her sorority letters, what is he saying? She's as important to him as her sorority is... to him?
However, a non-greek man can still lavalier his girlfriend. My (non-greek) husband lavaliered me with a little heart-shaped pendant, and my chapter celebrated it just the same as if he'd been in a fraternity and given me a fraternity lavalier.

So what if one woman in a GLO wanted to committ herself to another woman in the same GLO? Would woman A then buy woman B a lavalier? Just to put it out there

Why? Do you have a fake story about getting lavaliered by your fake boyfriend in your fake sorority?

HAHAHAHA. 33girl, you made my day.
To the OP, I don't think it would be as meaningful as it looks on TV. There's also a good chance that she got a lavaliere from her big sister somewhere along the way.
