Because it was all a dream, I used to read Word-Up magazine.
and Only Built For Cuban Linx, 36 Chambers, Illmatic, The Blueprint, you get the idea.

YES!! Juicy is actually one of my favorite songs of all time. Then you have the legends like Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five, The Suger Hill Gang, Eric B. & Rakim, KRS 1, Black Star.... the list goes on.

Well technically the East/West battle was at a specific period in time with specific rappers on each side (Pac, Snoop, etc on the west...biggie, puff, etc on the east). I mean if you wanna go beyond that era in time then you gotta add the Hyphy Movement that started in the Bay and has found itself all around the country. Too $hort, E-40, Mac Dre, Keak, The Federation, all big names...all West Coast.
