No guarantees, but getting recs and having your rec writers emphasize your recent academic success might help your cause. A 2.66 on the upswing is better than a 2.66 on the downswing. Also, if there were serious health/stress/other circumstances that affected your grades in the early part of high school, have your rec writers mention that too.
If you do decide to go through, don't be the "paranoid GPA" PNM at parties. Do not ask every (or any) sister with whom you speak, "Is a 2.66 ok? Am I going to get cut?" No individual sister can answer that for you.
The housing fee ($200) + registration fees ($65-75) for formal recruitment are a bit steep (because you have to go early).
