I wish they'd get rid of Denny. I'm so over that storyline. Cristina and McBadass... now that's something that might be interesting...

I am SO ready for the residents to actually start teaching. They are idiots compared to where Mer and everyone was by this time in their intern period. It's sad to me for them to let the interns just meander around behind them as they do all the learning.

Okay, I've finally seen this week's ep and I agree, sex with a ghost is just wrong. Lol, but I LOVED how Mer panicked and yelled "Derek!!!" It was like "Just making sure..."
You know, I think this season has been uber great until this ep. I need someone to rip into the residents for not teaching their interns. Make it their fault that SGH is number 12. And what was with Bailey's "I need something to excite me" speech? It sounded like an "I'm leaving to go find something better" but that can't possibly be it, I think the world might explode.
I realized that I never saw the LVAD episode or the one where Denny died. After all this time, I never tracked down that ep. I think I'll do that today!

YES, you need to see that whole arc ASAP. It kind of explains why Denny is there. Kinda. Because, as much as I love GA, I am not seeing what the significance of having Iz and Denny have sex means. I mean, he is a ghost, right? (But I know Shonda and them broght Denny back because we all LOVE Denny!) I do like Alex's growth, he's trying to be there for Izzie. Which is why CG has to see the last two episodes of Denny's story.
Did I just write that email like an entry from greyswriters.com? I think I did.

^^^^^^Woooooooowwwwww. I don't usually get emotional at TV, but I'm a lil salty-eyed over here. To finally think you'd won, that you'd got your happily ever after. All the crap and the hardship and the fight and the struggle was finally over and everything would finally be alright and then...just gone in a heartbeat. Literally. It's like...they're trying to reflect true life or something.
I'm am officially no longer irritated at Izzie for being a confusing, emotional wreck. If that'd happened to me, I would be seeing dead people, too. Grief that strong can sneak up on you years later, I know. Especially if the writers of your show aren't being forthcoming about your possible brain tumor and subsequent death. Messes with a girl's head, you know?

I obviously missed something because I used to watch the show sporadically.
How in the hell did Izzy's dead fiance come back to life? He's really not there right? Is she just crazy?

Sadly, this is one of the 'things' of this season--we don't know why.
*anxiously waits for February sweeps when apparently 'all' will be revealed...and maybe then Grey's can get back to the good show it once was*

Spoilerfix.com has said: That is IS a brain issue with Izzie. It's not a brain TUMOR, though. But, it causes the Denny thing.

Y'all know I am a GA fanatic. But tonight, I was seriously watching Izzie with a look on my face. Usually, I can see where the story is going, but I am all kinds of confused with my girl Izzie. I lol'd when she sat down with Yang. The look on Christina's face was priceless. Yay for McArmy and Yang. And Sloan, just when I thought he was turning a new leaf, he reverts back to McSteamy. *drools* Lexie: when did you grow those ovaries and decide to jump on McSteamy? How is that gonna affect Derek and Mark's relationship? (Did Sloan already like her or was it that Derek told him not to that made him do it?) And can we please get our Callie back? I don't like this new chick. And Dr. Dixon? WOW!! And my Alex?!! Dude, you have SO grown up. I love it!! And while I love seeing Denny again, uh...er...I just don't get it. What kind of a brain issue causes you to have sex with your dead fiance?
btw, did anyone see Private Practice last night? GREAT episode!!

My guess is Temporal Lobe Epilepsy.
See the part where they talk about peeps seeing ghosts during seizures.

Alex is bringing new meaning to grown and sexy.
Callie...just go sit down. They've destroyed her character (though not nearly as much as they destroyed Hahn's...crying in bed about leaves and ish...)
You could just see Christina be restored on that vent. It was amazing. It was like he gave her her "self" back, it was so beautiful.
Mer is annoying when she thinks she's soooo right and decides to placate whoever it is she's fighting with. Especially when she couldn't be more wrong if she prayed and said "God, please let me be more wrong!"
As soon as that little girl said, "I hope you die!" I knew it was all over. Great to see Kay Panabaker though. Too bad her real sister couldn't have also been in the ep, I like seeing them act together.
Okay, is Dr. Dixon an accurate representation of Asberger's in this particular ep? Because, of the people I've met who carried the diagnosis, none of them were that....well, like that.

I'm so over the Izzy thing. George has noticed something is wrong with her but nobody will listen to him, as usual. I can understand "seeing ghosts" but interacting with them to this extreme, even with a brain issue, seems way over the top.
Dr. Dixon seems pretty extreme to me too. But, as noted before, just as autism has degrees of severity, so does Aspberger's. She is a very severe case, I'd guess.

I know autistic people who function better than Dr. Dixon. If they said she had autism i would buy it more than her having aspergers. The Izzy thing is just being strung out far too long. There is no way that a person could hide the fact that their dead fiance has returned and follows them literally everywhere. If I was seeing my dead fiance and felling them, the first thing I would do is confide in someone and ask for help. I hope that they are making Little Grey a little more interesting and complex of a character. The timidity was a bit annoying. And as for Callie......I really dislike the way they are handling this character. It was kinds funny when McSteamy was giving her advice on how to figure out if a girl is interested in her, but that just does not suit the Callie we have known to be a strong and competent character. My favorite character this season is Christina, mostly because they haven't messed with her character and she is still the same old Christina as always.

No two people with autism or Asperger's will present the same way, so you can't compare them.

Love Christina.
Love Bailey. She was like a 5-year-old, the way her eyes lit up during the surgery she had never seen done before.
Sloan/Little Grey thing. Saw that coming. Not sure how I feel about it yet.
I agree that this Izzie thing needs to go somewhere. It's getting old. And is it just me or is Denny starting to become an a-hole? He's all mad about Alex and it's kind of making ME mad. He used to be this sweet guy who was all dead, and would just touch Izzie in the hall as she passed without her knowing (the end of the season 3 finale was the best Denny part ever). I understand this if Izzie's sick, but could we please figure out what's wrong with her... quickly.
But I love Alex. I'm surprised he still picked Izzie to do the solo surgery with him... and that he told her he loves her. Good for him, but obviously Izzie is in love with a dead guy, so it'll never work out I see something bad/weird happening during the surgery next week, causing everyone to figure out that something's wrong with Izzie. Hopefully.
Callie's storyline is just becoming annoying. I was so thrilled when Hahn left so that this awkward sexual tension (and Callie's questions about how to pleasure a woman) would stop. But now it's starting again. ahh!
