R. Kelly's brother, Carey, believes he can't lie.

The "Trapped in the Closet" singer's younger sibling has released a low-budget DVD on which he accuses his brother of trying to get him to commit perjury, according to MTV News.

According to Carey Kelly, his brother wanted him to take the fall by claiming that he was actually the star of the infamous sex tape that prompted child-pornography charges against R. Kelly.

On the DVD, released Tuesday, Carey Kelly alleges that his more famous brother offered him $50,000, a house and a record contract if he would agree to testify that he appeared on the tape, but that he turned the offer down because he did not want to lie.

"I got a call about a year and a half ago," Carey claims on the DVD, produced by Drahma Magazine. "My brother wanted me to do some s--t pertaining to this case that would leave me behind bars with a record deal. It doesn't make sense, so I turned it down.

"Since I couldn't lie for him in a court of law, we're back to beefing again, and we ain't brothers no more."

The rumor that R. Kelly planned to finger his look-alike brother as the star of the sex tape first circulated several years back, but the R&B star's lawyers denied that the ploy was part of their defense strategy.

Carey Kelly also claims that his brother beats his wife, Andrea; tried to molest their other brother's daughter; molested their 12-year-old second cousin; and--oh yeah--that he's bisexual.

"He trapped in the closet for real," Carey Kelly said in a radio interview with New York's Hot 97.

A spokesperson for R. Kelly declined to comment on the allegations, beyond calling them "ridiculous."

"This is not the first time Carey has made ridiculous accusations against his brother," the spokesperson told MTV News. "We're not going to dignify them with a comment."

Though Carey Kelly claims all of his allegations can be proven, his own credibility isn't the strongest, seeing as he was recently released from prison on theft charges. He also openly holds a grudge against his brother, whom he claims owes him royalties for his contributions to several tracks on the 1993 album 12 Play.

For his part, R. Kelly has pleaded innocent to the charges against him.

His case continues in a Chicago courtroom on Apr. 7.

Phoning her cohosts on The View over live TV Monday morning, Star Jones Reynolds assured Meredith Vieira, Joy Behar and Elisabeth Hasselbeck that, contrary to tabloid reports about her recent hospital stay, "I did not almost die."

"I had a boob lift," she said. "I thought it would be nice to call you guys this morning and keep you abreast of the situation." She also admitted she'd gotten implants because she wanted her breasts to be "perky."

Asked why she underwent the elective procedures, Jones Reynolds, 44, explained that she needed the change following her recent 150-lbs. weight loss. "And do you know how hard it is to explain to your 87-year-old grandmother what a breast lift is?"

Her colleagues weren't so sure themselves. "Will we be able to touch them?" Hasselbeck asked. Jones Reynolds replied, "Elisabeth, you are such a freak." But, she added, "You'll be able to see them. … They're just normal boobs. It's not that I went and got triple Ds."

As for how her new breasts look, Jones Reynolds said, "Friday was my 44th birthday, but my boobs think they are still 20."

And, yes, she required a blood transfusion due to complications, she said, although she downplayed the incident's seriousness. "You guys know I'm anemic. We've talk about it on the show," she said. "I did need blood, (and) I was prepared."

Once she had the transfusion, she said, "Literally, I was fine right afterwards. I was completely awake while getting my blood."

Jones Reynolds was released from the hospital on March 21. "The (lift) was successful, and she said she was looking forward to coming back next week," Barbara Walters, who spoke to Jones Reynolds while she was in the hospital, tells PEOPLE in its current issue.

Discussing her conversation with Walters, Jones Reynolds said Monday, "You know her – she's like the mother."

Quipped Behar: "Okay, Star, that's enough about you. Now it's back to us!" To which Jones Reynolds replied, "Joy, I'm so glad you haven't changed."

The high profile couple have two daughters, and word has it they have found other partners. How long will the bosses of ABC’s The View put up with Star Jones and her outrageous behavior? While on a break from The View, Star went off to the West Coast to have plastic surgery. She got a breast lift and a tummy tuck. Problems arose during the surgery because Star is anemic. After her brief medical scare, doctors advised her to stay put on the West Coast. That delayed her return to the East Coast and her job on The View. It didn’t go over well when Star was photographed drinking champagne with her husband at a well known Hollywood hotspot. Why was she drinking so soon after major surgery? It also didn’t go over well when she called in to talk to her co-hosts on The View. They wanted to know what happened. Meredith Vieira, Elisabeth Hasselbeck and Joy Behar started asking Star what happened, and Star went on and on. Finally, Joy busts in and says, Enough Star! We have to get back to the show! Well, Star got mad and told Joy, I see you haven’t changed! You are still a B**ch! The technicians were slow in cutting her off and everybody heard it. The expressions on the women’s faces were priceless. They just sat there in shock, and the show cut to commercials. Joy and Star do not get along. Back in December, they had it out over the air as they discussed religion. The producers are fed up with Star and her behavior. If they replace her on the show who will they get? Who could replace Star Jones? How about Sheryl Lee Ralph, the wife of PA State Senator Vincent Hughes? The former Dreamgirl would be perfect. She’s attractive, personable and very in touch with a variety of social issues. Not to mention television viewers love her from her work on two long running series, Moesha and It’s A Living. Singer Victor Willis of The Village People is headed to jail. The 54 year-old singer was nabbed by police after being on the run for drug and gun charges. Willis played the role of the cop in the disco group The Village People. He co-wrote the classics ‘In The Navy’ and “Y.M.C.A.” During the 70’s, The Village People topped the charts, but the years haven’t been kind to Willis. He used to be married to Actress Phylicia Rashad of The Cosby Show, and he has battled drug addiction.

When will Singer Isaac Hayes step forward? His spokespeople, The Scientologists, swear up and down the singer has not had a stroke. Isaac has not been seen since January 17th, when he was admitted to the hospital. I want to see Isaac Hayes! I want to see him speak! I hear a major cover-up is going on. What is going on with the singer? He has a new wife and new baby (number 12). How did he lose the rights to his music? What is going on?

Oprah is fighting the battle of the bulge again. Yes, she looks thin on the cover of her O magazines, but she has gained a little weight over the past few weeks. Now, she is gearing up for the summer vowing to lose the weight.

Did Singer Patti Labelle have a meltdown on stage in Florida? Organizers of the Riviera Beach Jazz and Blues Festival should be ashamed of the way they treated Patti. They made her wait for hours to take the stage, and then she had to deal with the cold weather conditions outside. It was an outdoor event, and on that night, it was unseasonably cold. Patti couldn’t take it. She was freezing up there, and she couldn’t perform the way she wanted. As she struggled on stage, she started to cry. She apologized to the audience describing it as the worst night of her life.

Diana Ross is gearing up to release an album of jazz standards this summer. Diana’s son, Evan Ross, is getting rave reviews as one of the stars of the movie ATL. The movie also stars Rapper T.I. The movie is a coming of age story about a group of friends in Atlanta. I hear the movie is excellent. Up next for Evan Ross is the movie PDR with Terrence Howard and Bernie Mac.

American Idol Winner Fantasia is telling her life story. She will be starring in a movie about her life for the Lifetime channel.

Shar Jackson has started a new organization to help others. Shar is desperate to get out of the shadow as the woman who was dumped by Kevin Federline (Mr. Britney Spears). With her organization SHAR, Sharing, Helping And Reconciling, Shar is hoping to help inner city youth and young mothers. Shar has four children herself.

Actor Gary Dourdan of TV’s CSI has filed a $4 million lawsuit against an ex girlfriend who accused him of rape and battery. Dourdan described her as a fatal attraction stalker who called him up to 30 times a day, left him threatening messages and slept outside his home in her car.

Queen Latifah says she’s ready to be a mom. She is hoping to be a mom by this time next year. I wonder how she will accomplish this? She’s set to star as “Motormouth Mabel” in the movie version of Hairspray with John Travolta.

Remember the 1960’s series It Takes a Thief with Robert Wagner? Will Smith is set to star in the big screen remake.
