Thanks for spreading the word.
You can just mention that I will be self-publishing it. It is a book for teens, primarily Black teens. It will become a series. Part of the website is in purple and gold. The school's colors are purple and gold. 
Tell them to join the mailing list and sign the g'book. There will be perks for mailing list folks for book 2.
As time goes along, I will update you all more here on GC.

After 2 Years, 1 Month, and 6 Days. . .
It is my extreme pleasure, downright joy, and a lot of other GREAT THINGS to be able to tell you that today I was contacted by a local, Black owned publishing company about publishing my book. I sent them the manuscript 2 weeks ago today and when I arrived home this evening there was an e-mail from the publisher telling me that they will publish my book. Leaping across my home office to my living room, I called my #1 fan. Then I began telling the news to many of the special people in my life. I still have more calls to make but I have all week.
Now, because I know how you all are, I must tell you I have more to go on my journey before the book is on a shelf and I go on a book tour and all that good stuff but I did want to update you all.
Now I need to update my website and let the mailing list people know but I had to share with the GC family. So many of you have been great over the past 2 years and have travelled the road with me with encouraging words, thoughts and prayers and I love you for that.
So I am happy happy happy happy tonight.

Thanks to all of you for your congratulations!!! Truly it was hard to sleep last night as I just lay there celebrating, lol, alone I promise.

Congrats Soror CT4....I have been off since Thursday, and this is some great news to come back to work for. I know that you have worked hard to get to this, and I can't wait to read the finished project. I mean yup you sucked me in with the snippet that you had on your website, and I'm like look I need to know the ending of this book... Congrats again, and I hope that Philly will be one of the cities on your book tour.
