Hey guys, I guess I have been living under a rock the last few weeks, between school and work...I haven't had the pleasure of hearing Frenchie sing. Now amidst this controversey, I feel kinda jipped...does anyone know of a link on the web with a performance of her? They have erased all traces of her on the official AI website!

Hey ya'll, Frenchie is doing just fine!! She is the new correspondent on Entertainment Tonight. She was on ET last night talking about the Grammys and other music related news. Tonight, she is going to sing, among other things, the ET theme (I didn't know it had words!) I will watch.

Why is there so much support for a woman who would bare her flesh for money on a child porn site? Can I be enlightened please?. Are there not to be consequences for aberrant behavior? Comparing her to the mistakes of others is not good enough.

I do not of the child porn site. However, these facts have come forward:

1. The site was not a child porn site when she appeared on it. The website currently has different owners and this is what they have on the site now. It was an adult site.

2. Frenchie was not underage when she was on the the site. She was 19. She says she chose to do this so she could continue her education at Howard.

3. She was up front with the producers about appearing on the site. If they had any qualms about it, they should have disqualified her before she made it past the initial stage.

While I do believe that taking it all off was not the best choice, I am backing her since she was up frront about the situation. Also, last season on AI one of the finalists was a known stripper and was not disqualified.

I am not trying to start an argument, but this is why I don't understand why Frenchie was pulled from the show.

This is hilarious that no one is matching up to Frenchie's voice and I think that it what they are looking for, besides Kimberly.

I only caught the last 3 performers, but I must have had something in my ears when Corey Clark performed because I thought his performance was terrible! What were Paula, Randy and Simon raving about???

If you heard the first five you'd understand....its not that Cory was that good...the others (except for Josh the Marine) were just that BAD.

Be glad your tv was muted on Juanita...I thought after last week it could not get worse...how wrong I was!

In between working with the chilluns (my new job as a direct care worker for a teen runaway shelter) doing some writing on second shift tonight I was able to catch AI. I'm listening to Whitney's "Didn't We Almost Have It All" right now and yes, they were right, Juanita was screaming that song. Then to have the absolute complete nerve to sit up and catch attitude. She lost my vote right then and there. And I usually don't agree with the kids I work with but we were on one accord tonight.

Then Nasheeka. NO!! I agree with soror CT4 on that one too!! That was just bad!! Was it me or was the song even further blasphemed by what she was wearing??

That blonde chick (can't think of her name) sounded like she sucked on a balloon before she went on!!

The second guy (can't think of his name) that sang the Donnie Hathaway song was pretty good as well as the Marine and the very last guy that went on. I think his name was Corey. I voted for Corey and the Marine.
