I like Amerie's CD okay. If nothing else, listen to the whole thing. I think the production is really good, and to me she sorta sounds like Mary J. did when she first came out. Now will she ever reach Mary status, lol, I don't know about all of that, but for a debut CD it is pretty good. Could use some better writing though.
I forgot to add to my other list of songs Are We Cuttin' by Pastor Troy and Ms. Jade. My jam right there!

For all the GCers who love that . Down South Screwed Music Lil Flip's cd came out yesterday. It is cool to me. He did a remix to I Can Do That which is like the anthem at the clubs in Texas. I am going to get Trina too I like her song with Tweet.

There's a song out named "Blue Jeans" - I don't know the lady's name (someone please tell me), but I think Ghost Face Killer from Wu Tang Clan does the rap on it. I am digging that song!!
I also like Remy Shand's music.
Rafael Saadiq has a new song (don't know the name of that one neither - help a sistah out with this one too!!) - HOT y'all, HOT!!
Monica's new song has grown on me, let's see how her other songs measure up.
I see that I might have to rub some more nickels together to pick up Truth Hurts and Musiq

Gospel CDs
I purchased the new Hezekiah Walker CD (Family Affair II) and it's excellent. It has a lot of songs that they did in the past (Calling My Name, He's on Your Side, Any Way You Bless Me) and they're on another level.
Karen Clark Sheard's CD doesn't impress me. I do, however, like the song with her daughter.
Dave Hollister's new cd will drop on September 17. 702 are back together and they have a cd coming out in November. R. Kelly's cd is already circulating. I've had the opportunity to listen to it and found it to be very mellow. It's very obvious that he's settled down a lot. There are a lot of inspirational and love songs. That's about as sexual as it's going to get.
