I think number of dangles is just a personal preference, however I thought one pr dangle was enough, having 5 would be totally excessive

I've held more than five offices, though, so if I wanted to get a dangle for each one, would that be too-too?
(I don't actually have a dangle. I'm still saving up for a pearl chapter guard.)

Has anyone seen a dangle for Public Relations? I swear I look all the time and can never find one. They have a historian one and a T-shirt chair one, but i cannot find a PR one for the life of me. That's an Exec. position in my org. and I really want one!

PR is the same as historian (or maybe it's the same as house), it looks like a rolled up diploma or certficate or something along those lines.

FuzzieAlum, I held several offices too. I just got the dangles for the 2 highest offices I held (Panhel rep and ritualist) - I decided 6 dangles would look tacky
I do wish I could have done more to "personalize" my AEPhi badge... but it's a trade-off... since it is so simple and everyone has essentially exactly the same badge, we always got ours in time for initiation, so I was pinned with "my" badge, not a loaner.

AEPhi alum, your badges are all jeweled with pearls, right? No choice of stones?
It is simple, maybe, but it is distinctive.

personally, i don't think too many dangles are tacky, i think they're fun! i tried to get as many dangles as i could (since i didn't hold any exec positions..just chairs) so to be special, since i was one of only like 4 jewish girls in my chapter i ordered a star of david dangle..

Dangles
I don't think a bunch of dangles are tacky at all (I have 5 myself). Each dangle was earned, so why would someone not want to wear them all? To me it is like someone in the military not wearing all the ribbons he earned!
One think I've never learned though, is what order the dangles should be placed on the chain. By order of the importance of the office or by order in which they were earned?

I've always thought that Tri-Delt's badge is pretty. They were one of the few chapters on my campus besides my own that had pin attire regularly.
As for the boys, I'm partial to Theta Chi's badge, although I'm biased because I'm pinned to a Theta Chi!

Is there anywhere to find pictures of the NPHC badges? I've always wondered what they looked like but they don't seem to be as easy to find pictures of online.
If there are no pictures online for some very good fraternity reasons, nevermind.

Again, since we can't vote for our own, I really like Kappa Alpha Theta's badge.

We all loved the Second Degree pin as well and were so bummed we only got it for a short time!
