I have the Oh Baby lipglass too...actually need to purchase another one.
And the chestnut lipliner goes with everything I have! Excellent!
Other lipglass/lacquers I like are Oyster Girl, Glisterine, Shock-O-Late, Mellowing, Glossette, and Varneesh.
Also their Studio-Fix and Foundations (used this in a wedding and pictures came out great) work wonders!

I have come to accept that I am a make-up jigalo. I have gone back to Lancome, now that they have the Color ID line.
Ahhhhh, its feels good to be home.

I am a MACaholic. When Mac Harlem had their greek week discount I took advantage of it. This sistafriend alway wanted the MAC pro case for all my tubes so I broke down and got the MAC pro case.
But for the colors, I love :
Oh Baby
CThru
Viva Glam V
Chestnut Liner
Smoove Lipstick
Chelsea Lipstick
When I first started wearing make-up (when momma said I could at 17 years old) I wore Fashion Fair and Flori Roberts. To this day my favorite Fashion Fair Lip color is Chocolate Rasberry.
I tried to match it with a MAC color, but wasn't able to get an exact match.

I have to agree with some of what Enigma_AKA said. MAC's foundations and pressed powder's do nothing for me and my skin tone. They either make me look too red or make me look ashy . I'm with Steeltrap...I love Prescriptives!
I absolutely love MAC's lipglass (C-thru and Oh Baby are my favorites), lipsticks (cyber and chintz are my must haves), and eye shadows (I won't even go there with all that I have). And Chestnut lip liner should be a requirement for all women to have

This is why you don't get help from the MAC girl who looks like the backstage-of-a-fashion-show-makeup-session gone wrong. They will set you up. Out of the many MAC stores close to me, I've found a girl in VA who is on point. She can do a dramatic look for a night out and a subtle look for everyday wear. I think any good quality makeup can be manipulated it's just a matter of who is doing it.

The lady at the counter's makeup was fine. I said it didn't do justice BY ME! And by that I mean the makeup, not the person. The colors are too bold by my definition, not by anyone else's. That's what I said, going around and blending would best suitable for someone like myself, who doesn't like the costume look (which I think you can get from M.A.C.).

Well, before my best friend's wedding we visited the MAC counter for a run-through. The woman who did her make-up looked like a drag queen!! We were skurred! However, she did a great job...her make-up was very natural.

Now I don't know about their foundations, as I don't wear foundation. The only makeup I wear on a consistent basis is lipglosses and eyeshadows. I'm usually the one to have a lot of bronzes and gold colors, but I'm trying to venture out into the pinks and berrys for the season.

I got what you said and I wasn't making reference on your experience or who did what to you-seems you took it that way. Just commenting on the funny things I see at the MAC counter.

Those two are really all I need in terms of makeup. I've got a lot of the berrys because purple is my favorite color and I'm also venturing out into all the shades of pink. Especially since almost everything is pink this spring.

No y'all didn't start talking about my FAVORITE makeup brand: M.A.C. I am a die hard M.A.C. lover. Right now, my favorite lip glass is Oyster Girl. It's a nice natural look with any lip liner.

MAC-Aholic
I have purchased some of the make-up brushes by MAC and they are the best. Some lesser-quality brushes tend to "shed."
I use the small angled brush to apply brown eye-shadow to my eye-brows. That way I don't get as harsh a "line" as I would with a pencil.
Now the ONLY good thing I can say about Fashion Souffle Fair is that the "lip glass" goes on smooth and it's not stick and gooey like MAC.

Me too! I recenlty turned in 6 Studio Tech's for the free lipstick, but noticed it REALLY dries my lips. So now, I tend to use the lipstick to blot a little color only.
I think I may try Studio Fix instead of Tech. The MAC rep said that Studio Tech is water-based and is not recommended for people with oily skin. I think my skin is normal, but I want to try Studio Fix to see what the difference is. Too bad I can't use their lipstick.
I use lip balm now for my lips and they're nice and soft

Mary Kay
I love MK comestics!! As a freshmen in college I had HORRIBLE skin.....seriously if you would have look up the term crater-face my name and picture would have been right next to it!!!
After using Mary Kay for a couple of months my skin was soooo soft, normal, and heathly. I still get a "monthly" pimple here and there...but I just slap on some Mary Kay and its gone the next day!
