Unfortunately I am stuck in community college hell. I have one more semester to go before I transfer to University of Houston (in the spring) and I do plan on becoming part of the greek system. I know its bad to pre-determine what fraternity I want to rush before I have seen them all but I know some guys from Sigma Chi and I have a friend who is a legacy so ill most likely will be going with Sigma Chi. I just don’t want anyone to think were trying to do a package deal. Sorry if anyone thought I was greek or if came off that way, I just started coming to greekchat out of interest and since im not, that’s why I only post in ChitChat.

From my experience these were popular drinks for some women. The ones that pop up in my mind.

Beer: Corona, Coors Light.

Liquor, Sea-breeze, Nuts N Berries, Purple Hooter Shooters, Sex on the Beach, Bahama Mamas or any kind of fruity drinks. Also, Margaritas, Daquiris, and drinks that contain Vodka.

White Zin is a popular one I've seen as far as wine too.

Then of course when I worked as a waiter at Rubys I did serve this one group of women straight bourbon. They looked like they were close to my mothers age and were having lunch. Something I didnt see everyday.

my faves would have to be gin & tonic, Kahlua & Cream, shots of vodka or Tanquaray, Tequila Rose and Long Island Iced Teas. And basically anything else that will get me extremely drunk. I don't drink very often, so I try to make the best of it when I do.

I thought this was pretty funny. My freshman years, there were 2 seniors in the house named Craig Martini, and Ken Rossi, Martini and Rossi. The funniest part is Craig never drank a drop in his life, and Ken didn't drink much at all, but most of the rest of the senior class drank A LOT.

Feel free to post in the other Greek Chat forums as well, Kevlar. We've got plenty of potential Greeks who post regularly in our Greek Life, Rush, Risk Management, etc. forums. We love hearing from everyone, and Greek Chat's certainly not just for those of us who already have letters!

No sororities or fraternities are nationally known for anything like that, at least not with any truth behind it. Each chapter is different. Also, I'm pretty sure there is no group anywhere with 100% of their members that don't drink a drop. Even though all of their houses are dry, I'm sure there are girls at every chapter that drink, as well as girls that have never had a drop.

That is so sad, I'd stock up, but with living in the house and all, I don't exactly have somewhere to put it. And I seriously doubt my mom would hold on to it for me.

p.s. to whoever said something about Sonic cherry limeades, I LOVE those. We don't have Sonic up here, but whenever I go to Alabama I have to stop and get one!
