So now the two most popular people on the show (Rodger and Elisabeth) are goners. Kind of a downer. Here's how I think it will pan out next week: Keith will not win, but he is guaranteed second place. The reason is this:
We're down to the final three: Colby, Keith, and Tina. Say Colby wins the final Immunity Challenge next week (which he probably will, since he always does). So since he will cast the only vote at that night's Tribal Council, he has the power to determine who he will be up against in the final two. He will probably vote out Tina and keep Keith for the final two and let the jury decide between himself and Keith. I'm sure Colby realizes that he has a better chance against Keith than he would if it came down to him and Tina. Same goes for Tina if she happens to win the IC.
If Keith wins the IC...well, he basically gets to choose who will win the $1 million. I really can't see Keith getting more votes from the jury than either Colby or Tina. Although I personally have thought he was pretty cool since the beginning.
Think about the final Survivor last year: when Kelly had the choice of voting out Rudy or Rich, she voted for Rudy. The reason? She thought that she would have more jury support in the final round if she was up against Rich as opposed to Rudy.
Can you tell that I have spent a lot of time analyzing this? Oh well, I suppose there are worse things to be obsessed with...

Does anyone here frequent the Survivor sucks message boards? If you don't mind syaing that is...
I like to look around and read, but am not registered. I thought I saw some names that looked familiar, especially Newbie. Is that you, Newbie? Also, because Newbie on SS seems like one of the nicer posters. They can get really mean there, it seems like!
Anyone else?

Hey SuperXO,
No, that is not me . I tried to get a Newbie email address at Hotmail, but it said it was already taken. Plus I tried various numbers in addition to Newbie--didn't work! I guess I'm not the only Newbie out in the Internet land!
Yeah, the SS forum can get pretty mean sometimes. It's fun to read, but I have not posted yet! If I do in the future, I will tell you all my login name.

well, a fellow sister and two fellow michiganders and none of them walked away with the money.
anyway, I predicted Tina since the merger and I'm glad a woman won, but Colby would have had it if he had chosen Keith.
Survivor 3 in Africa? gee, there's a real surprise. Next stop after that: Alaska, the Congo, or maybe the Sahara?

<sigh> I really didn't like Keith, Colby or Tina. At least Tina's a chick. I miss Rodger.

YEAH TINA. YOU GO GIRL
Sorry yall but I wanted her to win. I liked Colby too and he showed great sportsmanship. But I just thought Tina diserved it.

Well, I have been proven wrong. And Colby showed tonight (to paraphrase Kevin Garnett) that "it's not about the loot." I think Colby surprised a lot of people when he voted Keith off and chose to keep Tina for the final vote, when he knew he had a better chance against Keith. It's kind of cool that he did that though...he chose to keep the person who he felt was more deserving, rather than keep the person who would give him a better shot at winning the $1 million.
The final tally tonight was kind of different; everyone seemed to be in high spirits and not all that nervous. And it was a little surprising to see Colby totally overjoyed when Tina won. The whole thing seemed, for lack of a better word, more "manufactured" than the first Survivor. It didn't really capture the spirit of the game, with the winner being revealed in a cozy studio with a big audience, and everyone cleaned up, shaved, made up, etc. I think the final vote in the first Survivor had more impact. It was also different to see the jury voting for Tina and Colby, two people who everyone pretty much liked, instead of Rich and Kelly, who no one really liked all that much.
Hey, can't complain. It was a great season, and I'm already pumped for Survivor III.

I think tonights episode of survivor draaaged!! i felt like if i saw one more scene of the outback or watched anymore "reflection time" i was going to go crazy! i also didn't like the whol manufactored in a cozy studio atmosphere either.. it didn't pack the punch the last survivor had! i would have gone nuts if i had to wait almost 3 months to find out he winner like colby and tina! tina looks so different with makeup on! gorgeous! and when it first came on - the people i was watching it with were like who's that fat guy next to Tina - ohmygod it's COLBY!!! he gained his weight back - but he's even sexier than ever (although i liked the scruffy unshaven look on him) I thought they both played the game incredibly well - i found it hard to pick between them myself! i would have been happy with either of them winning after Elisabeth was kicked off - but i'm glad Tina won, b/c girls kick butt!!!! Jeri's so annoying.. she was totally looking for an apology with her question - too bad she didn't get it
And Nick is pretty sexy too.. i noticed that tonight. All in all, it was a great survivor season! can't wait for the next one!

It did seem to drag...here Vera and I were with like 13 or 14 people sitting in my cramped living room, watching them all "reflect". Then could they have taken longer to tell us who won!!!!?!?!
Oh well. At least Colby looked like he took it well No worries though, out of all of them he can turn into the Calven Klien model Someone at the party said that Colby is a Phi Delta Theata. Anyone know if that is true? I mean, I could look it up on their site......

I noticed that too about Jerri...that was kind of cool. She was not satisfied with the answers that Colby and Tina gave to her questions. I also thought it was funny when (I forgot, Amber or Lizzie) asked them if they could share the $1MM with 5 people, who would they NOT give any money to, and both of them said Jerri.
Jerri is still HOT though. It'll be interesting to see where her acting career goes. Hopefully she won't be typecast like Shannen Doherty and be expected to play the "bitch" all the time. Kimmi was looking HOT last night too, now that she got cleaned up and dressed up nicely and everything. Wow.
