the newest member of Bravo’s “The Real Housewives of Orange County” has lost her fiancee, Jeffrey Beitzel, to leukemia. Gretchen Rossi, who is thirty-years-old, attended the funeral services for her late fiancee on September 13. Beitzel was 54-years-old. He is survived by Rossi and his four children.

I've been reading all over the internet about Beitzel and Rossi. He had been married 5 times (twice to the same woman) and began seeing Rossi 3 months into HER marriage. The Absurd to Sublime Blogspot has some good reading. Read the posts by Jeff's sister, Judy Fike. Now it makes sense that Jo de la Rosa introduced Gretchen to Jeanna.

Also, Gretchen was Jeff's West Coast GF, but he had an East Coast GF as well

All of them look so much better in age-appropriate clothes. Jeana looks fantastic. I had to laugh when Lauri showed up at the studio with no makeup, except for false eyelashes.

WOW, i'm sorry those have to be HEAVILY airbrushed. Gretchen & Tamra don't even look like themselves, and Vicki looks soo much younger (like 20 years younger, at least). WOW @ Jeana, although I honestly think that picture ages her.

After watching last night's episode..

I'm glad Gretchen stuck up for herself against Vicki when they were at the Beverly Hills spa. I'm getting sick of the "new girl" comments, especially from Tamra, who seems to forget that she was the new girl last season. I think the women are giving her such a hard time because she's significantly younger and prettier than them.

I can't believe next week someone will be off the show. I like all the women this season so I don't want anyone to leave! I wonder if it will be Lauri since they kept mentioning they don't see her much now that she's married.

My guess is that its either Lauri or Gretchen. Vicki and Tamra love the spotlight too much and Jeanna is the backbone of the show.

I was cracking up on how much mascara Vicki was putting on. And her hair is really looking yellow now.

I thought it would be Gretchen leaving. I don't know when they filmed the show, but I thought it might have been around the time her husband died.


I wouldn't mind if Vicki leaves though, she's annoying & so terrible to Don. Poor guy.

We all know that one housewife will be leaving on this Tuesday’s episode (December 9) of Bravo’s “The Real Housewives of Orange County”, but who will be filling the void after the mystery housewife is gone? The answer is Lynne Curtin, a “sexy, stay-at-home mother of two teenage girls.” She is also a former gymnast, does not like to say no to her children and has a “strong jaw.” Curtin and her husband, Frank, will be making their “housewives” debut in the December 16 episode.

The toned and tanned Lynne Curtin, a sexy, stay-at-home mother of two teenage girls, joins the cast of Bravo’s hit docu-series “The Real Housewives of Orange County” in a new episode airing Tuesday, December 16 at 10 PM ET/PT.

Tamra Barney, Vicki Gunvalson and Jeana Keough are still rattled over meeting blonde bombshell Gretchen Rossi. But tensions escalate even more when the newest housewife, Lynne Curtin, attempts to join the clique. Lynne and her husband of over 18 years, Frank, are happily married and own a beautiful seaside home in Laguna Beach, Calif., where they enjoy every minute of their active Southern California lifestyle. A former gymnast, Lynne is an avid surfer, runner, horseback rider and kick-boxer – and she has the toned body to prove it. Lynne does her best to keep control of her outspoken teenage girls – Raquel, 18, and Alexa, 16 – but her desire to be a friend to them often interferes with her lackluster disciplinary efforts. Lynne’s laid-back philosophy on life flows into her lax parenting style: “I want to be the cool mom… I don’t want to say no.”

Meanwhile old friendships are becoming strained with the other housewives as a rift begins to form between longtime friends and neighbors, Jeana and Vicki. Jeana defends Vicki’s ex-husband, prompting Vicki to yell, “Don’t you dare defend him. He never gave me a dollar in child support or helped me a minute.” Jeana feels differently: “I always felt Vicki took the children by moving from Chicago, and how could he be a good father when she took them to California.”

I like Lauri and liked following her romance with George. I wanted to see how well the blended families got along too. It's a shame she's leaving the show!

Have you read any of the stuff about her and George and the drama with his ex-wife? I've been reading up on their crap in the ocregister and it's some eye opening stuff. He's not the "Prince Charming" he's made out to be. He's an ass.
