Yeah, she was stationed in Fort Bliss, but her parents live in Anthony or some small city in New Mexico (I think).

"I want you to make sure you live there, so I'll always know where to find you."

I finally got to watch last night's episode tonight. It really does takes the strength of a thousand men to be able to wake up every morning without the love of your life, and see her likeness in those 3 active little boys.

I adored those little boys. I saw the segment on EM:HE on Good Morning America with Robin Roberts last week, and I almost lost it just seeing them say, "Move that bus, Ty." It looks like the father and his late wife have done an amazing job raising them, along with her parents.

Next week is the season finale and they will be showing the makeover of Lori Piestewa's house (I think I spelled her last name wrong).

I'm very excited for this one because of Lori and being an Arizonian.

Lori's kids are named Carla and Brandon just like me and my brother. I have never met a brother and sister pair named like he and me. I had to call my mom. Good thing I did because she had fallen asleep.

I just cried for the whole blaming thing!

The dad at the end really did me in! He had been doing well and holding his composure - then at the end when he said that she was looking down on them... it was a boo-hoo fest at my house. I think Kleenex should be THE official sponsor!

{As a side note, I did cry when I saw them at WDW - I want to go back... NOW... Hello, my name is AXO Alum and I'm a WDW addict...}

Hey cutiepatootie...

My mom (still in Arkansas) told me that they did an Extreme Makeover on Colleen Nick's (mom of Morgan Nick) house in Alma/NW Arkansas. Not sure if it has already aired or if it's part of the new season or what...that's all the info she had on it.

ETA: Link here for more info on it.

I watched last night and it was so incredibly sweet. I love this show.

I really want to see the Piewesta (yeah I can't spell) house being done. I missed it when it originally aired (although I did get to see the other arizona house done).

I don't know if they showed it last night (I doubt they did) because the first time the episode aired, the showed the "How'd they do that?" a night later.

EMHE gave the Higgins' kids parents a proper gravesite and marker. Being that their mom and dad died only a short time after each other, and given the kids' inability to give them the proper funeral, the parents vever really gave their parents the kind of funeral they deserved. While on vacation, Ty and the crew laid beautiful stone markers for their mom and dad, and this brought the entire Higgins-Leomiti clan (and I'm sure audiences too) to tears. It was truly a touching moment.

The TV station I work at (an ABC affiliate) is doing its own home makeover. The finale is airing as I type this. It was a lot of fun (and tons of work!) to get it all done, and of course we couldn't tear down and rebuild a house in such a short amount of time, but the people were so deserving and the house is remarkable afterwards. I love shows like this
