That's awsome. My aunt used to be a PT in the NICU. What an amazing job, and it's so great to hear success stories!

Anyway,

Highs: It's friday!!! It's my friend's 24th birthday tomorrow so I am looking forward to celebrating it with her (and it's a chance to go have some fun...something I haven't done in a while!!!)

Lows: I don't want to be at work today. I'm tired and it's raining outside.

Highs: I went to Hechts this morning for the early big sales.. I got wedding presents for my friends this summer plus an engagement party gift for my friends. I was able to get them great gifts at much much cheaper prices!! Which is great when you are broke like me

I am going back tomorrow morning to get some stuff for myself though. I need some new things and plus I should get something for myself when I just spent all this money on other people.

Lows: The weather has been rather blah lately. Then my car well its really seeming like its on its last leg. I really need it to hold out a lot longer so that I can save up some more money. I cant afford a new car right now as much as I would love one

high: went to my first founders day banquet today. Funny because I'm a junior. Freshman year had a funeral to go to and Soph. year it was my nephews baptism.

Low: I have a zit on my chin! Kind of stupid but today has been good!

I think that this is a great idea....

Highs: Kentucky Gamma's new philanthropy, Frats at Bat, began today. It went tremendously well...everyone had blast. We finish tomorrow! And the team I coach (Kappa Alpha) is still playing!!

Lows: I lost my cell phone Thursday and I cannot function without it...its on silent so I cant call it to find it

Highs: I've spent all of today writing papers for film critcism class, which means I get to watch movies all day long!

Lows: LOL, I have to write papers all day long.

(To add, tonight marks the first night that I don't have to go to chapter. It's going to be weird not going, especially since I've gone to chapter for almost every Sunday for 3+ years!)

PS. I'm a space cadet. Did I ever mention that I decided on IU's grad program?

Highs: I went to my friends' engagement party today. That was fun seeing friends today and the weather was real nice. We also went out dt Richmond last night together. Nice to have my friends around here going out for a change.

Lows: Long story.. Last night at the bar.. the girl who was waiting on us at the table added all these extra drinks on my bar tab that I never ordered. (i guess she thought I would be drunk or something by the end of the night and not notice) I only had two beers all night and there were all these mixed drinks on there. When I asked her about this she got all mad, cursing at me and stuff. I finally got her to take most of them off but i was still overcharged though. So after the cursing and the extra cost, I didnt leave her a tip (which as a former waitress I have never done..), well she had the nerve to come up to me and say "thanks for stiffing me"

so of course I was not in a good mood at the end of the night.

She also tried to keep $16 of my friends change.. she had to track her down in the bar.

Crazy girl, I saved my visa receipt to make sure she didnt add more to my bill later.

Angelic- if she does add anything I would talk to the boss. Did you get her name?? Isn't it that the customer is always right?? That is crazy how rude she was to you.

Annie- thats a good philanthropic event. Maybe I'll bring it up to my chapter. Can you PM me all the logisitics?? Thanks.

My turn:
High: I had a nice relaxing day, of sleeping and watching movies.

Low: My room is a mess and I don't have enough energy to clean it... maybe I'll just go back to sleep.

Highs: It's a short week!!!

Lows: Everyone on my team got tickets from our big boss to go to the Blue Jays home opener this afternoon. Everyone except the temps. Me and 2 other ladies are still here working. I don't think that's fair at all and completely unprofessional.

Highs: Long weekend!!!! Woohoo!!!!

Lows: I am trying to quite smoking. I haven't had a cigarette in 3 days. I am dying here...it's taking all that I have not to go to the store to buy a pack.

Good Luck LadyPiPhi, I gave up smoking for lent and its been really hard for me too.

high: got to see my nephew today. He just turned 1 and he's so cute!! I never thought I would love something so small. Hes already talking and hes so cute when he says "buh-bye." Also just found out that one of the hardest upper-level business classes that was required is now not required you just get to take any upper-level business class.

low: I'm addicted to AIM and since I'm at home and my moms computer is weird it won't let me get on AIM. Its very frustrating!

Highs: I'm home, exams are done, spring break is here, and I went SHOE SHOPPING today!!!

and tomorrow's Easter! And then Monday I leave w/ my boyfriend to visit his home and family in Austin, TX!

Lows: Being President is STRESSFUL--even over break!

Highs: My hockey team played in tournament this weekend and we made it to the finals!!! We're a beginner team and not very good so we weren't confident that we were going to win any. But we went out there had some fun and we made it to the finals. Unfortunately we lost in overtime. But second place isn't bad for a team who didn't think they would win anything!!!!!

Lows: I had to miss the rest of the tournament because I was inujured at the start of the game. I fractured my tail bone

. It hurts to walk and I can't sit down. I had to buy a donut to sit on (also know as an invalid ring...nice name eh?!) They gave me pain meds but I don't really want to take it because it's percocet.
Also, I cracked and had 1 1/2 cigarettes on thursday night...but I haven't had one since.

Highs: I had a great Easter weekend, and I was super productive today.

Lows: Well, I still have a bit of a head cold, but thankfully it's going away. I have a really busy week ahead, but it's managable.
