That irritated me. And no, I never told my momma to write that letter.

I almost wish you did tell your mom...I'm sure she would have handled that in the appropriate manner

..if I could be a fly on the wall with my popcorn I'm sure it would have been very interesting theatre.
As for this:

I dont think that was my place to say or do anything to the young girls, especially because I am not a Delta. Am i right by this?

It depends...a group of rowdy ignant teenagers...nah...they will earn their beatdown in their own time..one or two kids that you know..intervene and say something. My younger cousins aunt (from her fathers side) is an SGRho...when we were at a family gathering her aunt had walked away & when my cuz yelled "auntie" she didn't hear her so my cuz lets out an "oo-oop"-I dropped my drink turned to her and asked "WTFreak did you say

?"...and she innocently replies, "I'm just calling my aunt-shes in that sorority-isn't that how you call for her?" I had to let her know:
a: wrong call-your aunt is in a different sorority (which is why she didn't turn around)
b: that call is for members only (as is your aunts call)
She got an abbreviated NPHC lesson that day and as she was a freshman in HS at the time I had to remind myself that at that age I knew NOTHING. She was very receptive to all I said & while my talk was from a non members point of view I told her to ask her aunt for more info also. We should all remember, for some young kids (even with family members who are members) they really don't know any better.
