My freshman year is probably a year that taught me A LOT. All of the rooms were tripled with one bunk bed and one lofted bed. Well i was on the sailing team so needless to say, I was hardly around. And if i was then i was trying to study and get my work done.
Well after fall break the other two roommates got in a big fight. It was pretty much over one roommate having sex with her boyfriend while the roommate was in the room. So by the time i realize what's up, i was out of the loop due to sailing, these two like majorly hate each other. So the one roommate (w/o boyfriend) moves across the hall.
Spring semester it's just the two of us. Then my roommate's boyfriend dumps her. CHAOS begins. She is heartbroken, wants to do anything to hold onto him, blah blah blah. Meanwhile, her b/f and me are friends, which she hates. Finally they cut things off and she goes nutz. Stops eating, starts clubbing, missing class, whatever. She hates that I have a boyfriend. It pretty much all was downhill after a screaming match in which i said, if you're that unhappy go die!
Sophomore year was when they paired me with a freshman. My original roommate decided to transfer. Well I must have the january break up with boyfriend karma b/c that's what happened to this girl. Mind you, fall sem, i tried to get out of the apt, but couldn't, so i lived at my boyfriend's pretty much.
So now she and her b/f have broken up and now it's ok for her to bring random guys home to sleep with them. Umm no, especially when there were a few nights i did sleep in my bed (we shared a room).
The icing on the cake was when she brought home this old guy and his daughter. I was so pissed I left the apt and didn't sleep there and in the morning they were in her bed with the daughter asleep on the couch!
The last two years went much better.
